Capitale

Anthony Morali restored this classic Manhattan landmark, which was the Bowery Savings Bank located at 130 Bowery, converted it into a multipurpose space.

The Bowery Savings Bank was designed by Stanford White from Mckim, Mead, and White and constructed in 1893-1895. White’s design illustrates Roman Revival style with classical Romanesque features such as Corinthian columns and pediments. The connected building was designed by the firm York and Sawyer. Capitale was declared a landmark in 1966, and is currently a restaurant (the ground floor holds Cipriani restaurant), club and event area, mostly noted for being a wedding venue.
